Outdoor Climbing Experience

The step from indoor to outdoor climbing is sometimes hard as technic, intimidation of the area, and reading the Topos (guide books) requires some experience and is mostly only in Japanese. If you look for a beginner tour and need all the rentals we have just the plan for you. Come on a Group or private tour to Saibachi or Toya. Let us be a part of your first experience at the real rock!

Depending on your wishes and level we will give you an estimate that suits to you!

Please let us know everything about your experiences indoor and outdoor, and what exactly you are looking for!

The ice climbing season in Hokkaido runs from around the End of December to the middle of March depending on temperatures and elevation. Most of the ice climbs are close to the ocean. Higher elevation climbs (north-facing routes) can be climbed well into April depending on temperatures and avalanche hazards. These will also be further in mainland Hokkaido (between Asahikawa, Obihiro, and Kitami).
